As food is important for both physical and mental well being, the importance of food in life is huge. Proper nutrition aims to get all the essential nutrients required for healthy functioning of the body through your diet. These nutrients include vitamins and minerals, fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, our diet can help us to reach and maintain a healthy body, reduce risk of chronic diseases (like heart disease and cancer), and promotes overall health, CIWT team in west and south Delhi held various group discussions and organized FGD for proper intake of nutrition. Around 24 such sessions were held with the help of GRCs ngos in Uttam Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Bhajanpura. & Rohini Jain Nagar.
