World Consumer Rights Day was celebrated by the Care India Welfare Trust with the villagers in Parsa alias Sirisia village of Sewrahi block under Kushinagar district.
While informing people about the importance of consumer rights, CIWT Team said that World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated every year on March 15, the importance of this day is to make consumers aware of their rights and responsibilities. In view of customer hoarding, black marketing, distribution of adulterated material, overcharging, sale of non-standard items, cheating, irregularity in measurement, non-provision of service after guarantee and crimes against customers in the market Awareness campaigns are conducted on this day. Importance of World Consumer Rights Day Consumers get their rightful rights and that is why this day is celebrated to spread consumer awareness.
