Old age assistance

In a country of rapidly increasing elder population and subsequent growing concerns to ensure that their later years are lived with economic & social security and dignity, we start tracking senior citizens who are not supported by their families and who have worked hard all their lives but did not have any pension facility, and provide monetary support to them. Currently Under this program we are assisting 14 senior citizens. In the near future we are planning to build a retirement homes for the elderly people who are alone, face health problems, depression and loneliness.

In India the number of elderly women is more than that of elderly men. Nearly three out of five single older women are very poor, and two out of three rural elderly women are fully dependent on others for want of appropriate livelihood opportunities towards economic security

We thrives to builds upon innovative pilot projects and strategic partnerships to extend a helping hand and to protect the rights of India’s elderly and provide relief to them through various interventions. In India old age home or you can say retiring home is now became a very familiar concept. But it has also greener and darker side of life. Some people stays here with deep pain, and some people stays with a easy way settling their last stage of life .But we cannot ignore the fact that old age homes are giving shelter to those who is homeless or who is orphan even after having a home. Having an every possible, reasonable, practical perception on this matter we the people of Care INDIA Welfare Trust has running this program on the discussed topic widely across the country. What we want to mention is your little harmless help (in the form of money or free service) can brighten their autumn.

Let us Support the Elders of our Society

Out of every 10 elderly couples in India, more than 6 are forced by their children to leave their homes, In India, unlike USA, parents do not leave their children on their own after they turn 18, worked hard all their lives, brought up children, and later took care of grandchildren. There are times when parents just want to relax and want their children to reciprocate their care ,But children find it hard to accept the fact that there are times when parents want to feel the love that they once shared with them. Every other day, we see news of parents being beaten up by their children, parents and in laws being forced to do the house hold chores, being made to live in small dungeon like rooms, their property being forcefully taken over by over ambitious children. Now, at the last stage of their life, when they are helpless and lack even food and shelter, they deserve our help.
