  • CARE INDIA WELFARE TRUST's  Donation Refund Policy ensures meticulous handling of donations in accordance with donor instructions, whether made online or offline. In the rare occurrence of an erroneous donation or should a donor wish to retract their donation, CARE INDIA WELFARE TRUST  commits to addressing the matter promptly, responding to the donor within 10-25 working days upon receipt of a valid refund request. The expeditious processing of the refund hinges on the nature of the credit card/banking mechanism employed in the transaction.To initiate a refund, the donor must submit a written request to CARE INDIA WELFARE TRUST 's official address or email within 2 days of the donation, accompanied by:
 
  1. Evidence of the deducted donation amount.
  2. If the tax exemption certificate is not generated and fund is not utilized in any activities by then, and the refund request is approved then the amount will be refunded within 3-4 working days.
  3. If a donation receipt has already been issued, the original receipt must be returned to CARE INDIA WELFARE TRUST 's designated office.
Note : Once a tax exemption certificate has been issued, refunds cannot be facilitated.
 
  • This policy is effective as of 1 January 2010.
